ENER-G's Water Consultancy Services is aimed at identifying and implementing water savings. A free desktop audit of water supply invoices is conducted in order to identify any potential savings. Any savings identified are reported to the client and with their agreement a water cost savings plan is implemented.
Savings are indentified with a thorough understanding of tariffs against the client's consumption profiles. Savings range from tariff optimisation and correction of billing errors, to refunds or credits negotiated with suppliers.

We offer a comprehensive service on Water Consultancy and can investigate all aspects of water costs such as:
- Supply and discharge of water, sewage, trade effluent, surface water drainage
- Water tariffs
- Alternative water sources (borehole, river water and rain water harvesting)
Water charges structure
- Basis of water charges (Water In = Water Out)
- Non-domestic water supply is generally metered (Water In)
Sewage (Water Out) is not generally metered and for charging purposes this is assumed to be approximately 90% of the supplied volume.
A water bill comprises of a number of separate charges as shown below.

- Trade effluent
Most water tariffs, change annually, generally on the 1st April, any other tariffs change in July.
