ENER·G's bespoke service is different to that provided by other vendors in that we offer a “complete” service backed by many years of energy management expertise and experience.
Our meters are supplied and installed by a UK-wide approved meter operator with parts and labour warranted for 5 years. Prices include a licence to access ENER·G's “Online Energy Management” tool, which acts as a powerful online database of energy and water data. This can be accessed using fully browser based software and with many analytical tools such as comparison benchmarking, bill checking and Monitoring and Targeting (M&T).
When linked into an automated M&T system, ENER·G's metering solutions are expected to highlight savings opportunities between 10-20%.
How does Smart Metering work?
Smart Meters are at the forefront of electricity, gas and water metering; recording "register reads" and collecting usage consumption profiles at regular intervals (this can be half hourly, hourly or daily). This data is then stored and transmitted using SMS mobile phone technology, the data is collected automatically requiring no human intervention (reduces human error), then checked and verified and sent to your supplier to generate an accurate utility bill.
Smart Meters are available for new and existing fiscal and sub metering.
How much will it cost?
Smart Meters are available for purchase or rental via ENER·G.
Purchasing option
Our purchasing option allows you to own the Smart Meter. An annual data management fee is payable to ENER·G for the provision of data and online access.
Rental option
Our rental option spreads the cost of your Smart Meters over a 5 year period and includes an annual data management fee payable to ENER·G for the provision of data and online access.
Both payment options are inclusive of:
- Installation and commissioning of Smart Meter(s)
- Meter maintenance
- Data collection, validation and distribution via approved data collectors, to your supplier(s)
- Web based access to consumption data and standardised reports
