ENER·G’s Process Engineering Consultants provide both strategic and tactical support to help clients reduce energy consumption, carbon emissions and cost. We also manage the requirements of internal policies and programmes (Energy, Environmental, and Corporate Social Responsibility) and the more exacting and complex demands of schemes such as the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme (EU-ETS), Climate Change Agreements (CCA) and the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC).

The process team have vast experience in refrigeration, steam and LPHW systems, compressed air and industrial processes, across a wide range of manufacturing sectors and provide specialist consultancy services to identify and implement energy saving projects using tried and tested methodology: 

Auditing the consumption, cost, efficiency and performance of energy, using plant, systems and operating practices through site surveys and monitoring and analysis of performance data. Assessment of effectiveness and performance energy management strategy, practices and information systems.

Development of solutions

To reduce energy consumption, cost and CO₂ emissions through no cost and low cost measures including maintenance, changes to operating practices etc, measures requiring investment to be repaid in short to medium term and strategic improvements, which may require greater investment.

Implementation of solutions

This includes training, design, specification and project management of energy investment projects, continued monitoring and targeting of energy performance and long term “energy partnership” support of and integration with client’s managing and engineering teams.
