Metering
Gaining visibility of consumption is key in any energy management program and monitoring consumption alone can reduce energy by 5%. ENER-G’s online automatic monitoring and targeting system generates online consumption reports for main utility meters and as many sub meters as desired. This allows the customer to monitor consumption at plant downtime and also provide information on energy cost per unit.
Lighting
ENER-G’s lighting solutions will typically save in excess of 40% and can reach levels of 70% saving when linked into an appropriate control strategy. ENER-G’s approach to lighting is to take an unbiased approach, selecting the right technology for the right environment, whether that be high efficient fluorescent lighting, HID solutions or LED technology. Whichever technology is chosen, all systems are controllable through our control system, giving the client complete manageability and flexibility in order to reach the desired savings and working environment.
Heating
ENER-G’s own energy control solution - E-MAGINE - typically provides savings in excess of 30% by monitoring and controlling the ambient temperature to required set points. E-MAGINE links into ceiling mounted fans which will allow recirculation of the bi product heat given off by machinery, resulting in reduced use of the installed heating plant. Sensible zoning enables the heaters to be linked to roller shutter doors disabling the system to disable the heater if the doors are open for prolonged periods of time. E-MAGINE also has self learning control loops which improve system performance over time.
