How can ENER·G help?

ENER·G is well placed to support you through every phase of the scheme;

Strategy

To manage the risks and opportunities, ENER·G can work with you to develop a robust CRC strategy.

Registration

Understanding the registration requirements is imperative to avoid fines and potential reputational damage. ENER·G can act as an agent, collating information and data and identifying opportunities for exemptions.

Performance management

Recycling payment penalties and bonuses will be based on performance against the scheme's measurement or 'metrics':

Early action metrics

Essential for the first year of the scheme

  • Energy Efficiency Accreditation Scheme - we can help you to become accredited to the carbon Trust Standard
  • Voluntary AMR/Smart Meters - we can advise which meters need to be modified/replaced as well as supplying hardware and software to provide the required information.

Absolute Metric

Measures energy related emissions reductions. We carry out energy surveys and develop schedules of energy efficiency improvement projects. Many of the recommendations are low and no cost, including controls modifications and employee behavioural change. We also have a range of energy efficient products including:

  • Lighting
  • Ground and air source heat pumps
  • DuCool Liquid Desiccant Air Conditioning System
  • BEMS
  • CHP

Growth Metric

Measures your relative energy performance in terms of Tonnes of CO2 against turnover. We can benchmark properties and processes, identify areas where relative emission are high and develop low cost measures to both reduce and manage emissions going forward.

Reporting & Evidence Pack

The scheme requires an annual report to demonstrate emissions and performance against scheme metrics. The reports are underpinned by an auditable ‘evidence pack’ which must be kept up to date throughout the life of the scheme. We can both produce the reports and maintain the evidence pack on your behalf, mitigating the risk of fines for non-compliance and associated reputational damage.
