"A Gasification based waste management system that has bridged the gap between a theoretical, working concept and a practical, proven system is from ENERGOS."
Future Perfect, Biffa Report, Winter 2002/3
Leading the way in small scale Energy from Waste technology
ENERGOS is a leading supplier of small scale energy from waste plants, which provides a local solution for local waste problems. Our patented technology is designed to minimise emissions and is an environmental alternative to landfill. ENERGOS' technology converts waste residue into steam, district heating, and/or electricity. We enable our customers to achieve both the EU Landfill Directive requirements (1999/31/EC) for avoiding landfill and significantly outperform EU Emission Standards (2000/76/EC).
ENERGOS' technology converts these waste streams into thermal energy for process steam, district heating, and/or electricity. We enable our customers to achieve both the EU Landfill Directive requirements (1999/31/EC) for avoiding landfill and significantly outperform EU Emission Standards (2000/76/EC).
What makes our offering unique?
- Clear and demonstrable technology leadership in gasification - based waste treatment
- Commercially proven - Six turnkey plants built & operating in Germany & Norway
- Superior environmental record, verified, approved, and observable (160,000+ operational hours and 650,000+ tonnes of processed waste)
- Meets the definitions of an Advanced Conversion Technology under the UK Renewables Obligation
Isle of Wight Project
ENERGOS are currently building a plant on the Isle of Wight to add to the 6 already operational plants in Norway and Germany. The plant will generate electricity from the 30,000 tonnes of residual waste from the 60,000 tonnes currently being processed at the Island Waste Services resource recovery facility.
