The solution:
Lighting
ENER-G has partnered with Metrolight, the world leader in digital ballasts for HID lights. This technology allows ENER-G to dramatically reduce energy by up to 65%, more than double lamp life and reduce maintenance costs whilst providing spectacular light levels. ENER-G has integrated the Metrolight ballast technology into UK manufactured fixtures and integrated the ballast protocol into ENER-G’s own building control system, providing seamless integration for both temperature and lighting control.
HVAC
ENER-G’s energy control system - E-MAGINE - typically provides savings in excess of 30% by monitoring and controlling the ambient temperature to required set points. By taking control of all HVAC plant, ENER-G can support the strict environment required for this application. E-MAGINE also has self learning control loops which improve system performance over time.
Metering
Gaining visibility of consumption is key in any energy management program and monitoring consumption alone can reduce energy by 5%. ENER-G’s online automatic monitoring and targeting system generates online consumption reports enabling our customers to have up-to-date energy consumption for all their facilities. This lets them benchmark similar operations enabling realistic reduction targets to be set for each facility.
