Whichever energy management solution is implemented all are backed up by monitoring systems based on our NETcaretaker and NETmail systems.
NETcaretaker is fitted on site and constantly monitors the installed system for parameter changes, alarms and faults. These are e-mailed back to our support centre. Various connection methods are available for NETcaretaker and include
- Ethernet connection to the site's IT system and broadband Internet connection
- PSTN - dedicated BT phone line
- GSM
- GPRS
E-mails received from NETcaretaker are automatically analysed by NETmail. NETmail reviews the reports and determines changes that are likely to affect energy use and notifies these automatically to our support team and sends an e-mail to the customer informing them also.
The support team use these alerts to help manage the site and analyse energy use. Our InSite engineering tool is to remotely interrogate the systems in site, diagnose problems and correct issues that occur.
