This data can be viewed online and used to validate utility provider's bills and the data can also be used in negotiating tariff changes or new supply contracts. This service can be extended to all utilities including water. It is widely accepted that by simply implementing automatic meter reading a saving of 2-3% cab be realised.
- Monitoring and targeting - based on both historical and monitoring of energy use, using automated meter monitoring, a detailed analysis of energy use, including load profiling and reporting, is provided on an ongoing basis. A dedicated ENER·G energy manager will manage the site's energy, make recommendations for action including no cost, low cost and high cost options for improving efficiency, set targets and help implement change. The potential for saving varies depending on the inefficiencies found and the actions adopted but typically savings can be in the region of 5 to 40%.
