1997- ENERGOS ASA founded
- Pilot plant in Ranheim, Norway was commissioned
2000- First full-scale commercial plant operational at Averoy, Norway
2001- First plant operational with standard design at Hurum, Norway
- First commercial plant in Germany near Minden in operation
2002- Plant operational at Forus, Norway - first plant with integrated waste pre-treatment facilities
- Plant operational at Sarpsborg, Norway - first double-line plant
2004- ENER·G PLC acquired business and assets of ENERGOS ASA
- ENERGOS AS is founded with its offices in Trondheim Norway in June 2004
2006- ENERGOS AS acquires Ranheim Plant and 90% share in Averoy Plant
2007- ENERGOS is awarded a contract to install the first ENERGOS gasification in the UK. The plant will be constructed on the Isle of Wight and will be partly funded by a grant received from DEFRA.
- Provisional planning consent achieved for 80,000 tpa plant in Irvine, Scotland
2008- Awarded contract by Hafslund AS to deliver a second 80.000 tpa plant to support energy to Borregaard Industry’s Sarpsborg Chemical Plant
- Isle of Wight gasification plant awarded provisional accreditation by Ofgem as an Advanced Conversion Technology (ACT) under the Renewable Obligation
- Planning consent for ENERGOS 80,000 tpa plant achieved by Singleton Birch in North Lincolnshire
- United Utilities awarded preferred bidder status for Derby PFI contract based on ENERGOS gasification technology
2009- Isle of Wight Plant fully commissioned
- Full planning consent for Irvine, Scotland issued
- Planning consent for ENERGOS 120,000 tpa plant achieved by BioGen Power Limited in Newport, South Wales
- Planning consent for ENERGOS 80,000 tpa plant achieved by ENERGOS in Knowsley, Merseyside
- Planning consent for ENERGOS 120,000 tpa plant achieved by ENERGOS in Kirk Sandall, Doncaster
