| Manufacturing - Adams Foods
The 150kW CHP unit located at the Leek site in Staffordshire is part of an environmental management programme at the factory. Since full commissioning of the CHP system in June 2010 it has achieved carbon savings of 476 tonnes equivalent to the environmental benefit of taking 159 cars off the road each year. |
 | Hospital - Birmingham Heartlands
The combined heat and power (CHP) scheme delivered by ENER-G enables the hospital to generate its own electricity in a purpose designed Energy Centre, cutting emissions of CO2 by 1,627 tonnes per year – the equivalent of taking 542 cars off the road – as well as reducing other harmful green house gases such as Sulphur Dioxide. |
 | Television Studios - Granada
The historic studios in Manchester have been harnessing the benefits of a CHP unit for nearly 10 years to help produce some of the UK’s most popular television programmes.
