Waste Management

Obtaining energy from waste is now an integral part of solving waste problems and a significant source of green energy. ENER·G specialise in a range of energy from waste technologies, which all operate successfully on a commercial basis helping local authorities to meet their waste management obligations.

Our solutions include:

Our gasification technology provides a much needed local cost-effective solution that displaces the need for fossil fuels and produces low-cost heat and electricity. The plant converts municipal solid waste (MSW), residual MSW into ‘green’ electricity and/or heat with a proven track record of 7 operating plants across Europe.

Landfill sites as a result of the waste degradation process produce a gas, rich in methane that can be profitable harnessed and utilised in a biogas generation facility. This ENER·G's landfill gas generation technology is widely spread across Europe.

Digester gas is also rich in methane therefore is a valuable fuel for generation heat and electricity in a CHP unit. The technology is suitable for agricultural applications, the food and beverages industry, waste water treatment works, and chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
